Basic
wrap
Step
1: Put your hair into a ponytail or push your
hair back and secure with bobby pins and put a stocking
cap (optional).
Step
2: Place headwrap behind head with your head
in center of material.
Step
3: Wrap around the left and right side of the
fabric to the front of your head.
Step
4: Proceed to wrap and crisscross the material.
You can do different patterns once you get comfortable
doing this basic wrap.
Step
5: When you get near the end, tuck that part
under a layer of the wrap and so the same to the other
side. Be careful and don't wrap too tight!
I
purchase my fabric from the fabric store. It's inexpensive
and I like being able to choose the material, color and
size of the fabric. I normally use 1 -2 yards of 100%
cotton or a cotton/polyester blend. Slik and satin types
tend to slip off my big head. You can purchase readymade
headwraps as well!
